Territorial Limits
The Territorial Limits are where, geographically, your policy covers you to carry out your work. If you do not take the Offshore Cover Extension, this will only provide cover for any work that you do on land, and cover will be provided Worldwide, excluding the United States and Canada.
If you take the Offshore Cover Extension, cover will be provided for any work that you do that is not on land. Please see Offshore Cover Extension for more information.
By taking our offshore cover extension (where applicable), you will then receive the following options:
UK, Ireland & Continental Shelf
This option will provide you with cover for onshore work Worldwide (excluding the USA/Canada), and will extend to cover you working offshore on UK, Ireland and European Continental Shelves.
Rest of World
This will cover you for onshore work Worldwide (excluding the USA/Canada), and will extend to cover you working offshore everywhere else in the world (excluding US/Canada Continental Shelf and Gulf of Mexico).
USA and Canada Continental Shelf
This will cover you for onshore work Worldwide, and will extend to cover you working offshore everywhere else in the world (including US/Canada Continental Shelf and Gulf of Mexico).
Onshore and Offshore Insurance
Onshore insurance will cover you for all work that is done on land within the territorial limits identified on your schedule (selected by you when you purchase the insurance). Offshore Insurance will cover you for all work that is not done on land, and will extend to oil rigs/platforms, wind farms and other offshore installations.
